Privacy summary
Last updated: 8 July 2026. Plain-English version. If your organisation needs a full formal policy, contact us.
What we collect
- Your name and email (to sign you in and send invites).
- The organisation and team you belong to.
- The messages you send Boswell and its replies, and short summaries Boswell writes at the close of a session.
- If your team has run teamXrays, the responses your organisation uploads.
- Product usage metadata (sessions started, errors, feature flags) so we can keep the service running.
Why we collect it
To give you a private thinking partner that gets sharper the more it knows about your context, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell data. We do not run advertising. We do not train language models on your conversations.
Who sees it
Your conversations are private to you. Other members of your organisation cannot see them, including other leaders on your team. Super admins at Alyve have audit-logged access for operational reasons (support, incident response) and do not read conversations routinely.
A small number of processors receive data in the course of providing the service: Supabase (database, auth), Anthropic (language model), OpenAI (voice), Resend (email), Cloudflare (edge hosting). Each is bound by its data-processing terms. See Trust for the current list.
Your controls
- Export a plain-text file of your session summaries from Settings.
- Delete your account and every session tied to it from Settings. Hard delete, no shadow copy.
- Ask us anything about your data at hello@alyve.consulting.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, primary records are removed immediately. Backups expire within 30 days.
Children
Boswell is for senior professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll update this page when practices change and note the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
